Four dead, several kids injured when school bus crashes into semi-truck in Nebraska

Four people were killed when a school bus crashed into a semi-truck full of hay in Nebraska.

Both drivers and two passengers on the bus died in the Wednesday afternoon crash near Blue Hill, Neb., KHAS-TV reported.

At least four kids between the ages of 6 and 10 were injured.

Three were treated at Mary Lanning Health Center in Hastings, and one was flown to Children’s Hospital in Omaha.

Their conditions weren’t immediately known Thursday morning.

One child was taken into surgery with burns and lacerations, KHAS said, and one boy was treated and released.


The injured children were being treated at local hospitals.

Witnesses at the scene said the bus was from Blue Hill School District.
